Mark "Chopper" Harris Mark Andrew Harris was born at Reading on 15th July 1963. At 6'2 1/2" and 13st l0lbs he became a stalwart in the Swans defence after making his debut at the Vetch on 23rd September, 1989 against Reading when the Swans crashed 6-1 in a Barclays League Division 3 game. His previous clubs: Wokingham Town (Vauxhall Opal League) August 1986 to March 1988, Crystal Palace (Division 2) March 88 to August 1989, Burnley (Division 4) on loan August 89 to September 1989. Chopper has been turning out for Kingstonian in the Conference over the last few years, and scored vs Southport on 9 Dec 2000 to put his club into the 3rd round of the FA Cup. On his departure from full-time football, Mark joined the Reading prison service. |
