Midfield maestro (not) charles joseph hartfield was born on 4.7.71 in lambeth. He joined arsenal as a YTS player in 1989 before transfering to sheffield united in1991. He made 56 appearances scoring 1 goal before going to fulham on loan where he made 2 appearances before joining swansea city in november 1997. He played 22 games for the swans scoring 2 goals. he was loaned out to lincoln scoring 1 goal in 3 games.Charlie was released in 1998 to join telford united where he scored 3 goals in 20 games. he now plays for sheffield fc in the northern counties league. - mike holmes
