Don’t expect big money signings, they will not happen, 500k tops, then you will still struggle to satisfy on the wage. Best and most realistic options will be talent that BR has spotted in his rolls with Chelsea that didn’t make the grade, and are now at lower league clubs, players that would suit your style of play, which is similar to the Arsenal on an off day. There for you must be patient with BR he is not a magician, he will be hampered by the lack of financial clout, but given time he will establish Swansea as one of the best/ most consistent teams in the championship.
The best you could hope for as a short term fix, and a chance to make another challenge for an automatic of playoff spot, would to go for 2 fringe strikers from the prem, on a season long loan, ( no outlay, just wage costs ) and if the budget would stretch a good loan midfielder known to score a few goals, again on loan.
If the rest of your team can perform as they did last season, you will again be pushing the top teams all the way, and when you get to the Prem, you make permanent signings with the financial rewards that promotion brings.

Even then you would be a yoyo team, but who know, and I would predict, Swansea to be an established mid table premiership side within 10 years.

Hugo Colace has turned us down to stay with huge Barnsley who offered more money than us and a longger contract.
