Jason has found it difficult to gain a place in the first team due to Roger Freestones constant excellent form. His did make four appearances last year however when Roger was injured, but was later ruled out himself when he suffered concussion in the match against Carlisle.
1999/2000
Although he didn’t make a first team appearance, Jason has showed clear signs of improvement in the reserves under the supervision of goalkeeping coach Glan Letheran. The number two goalkeeper is a great deal more confident and his work rate is excellent.
