He is well regarded at Bury and is some. Lenny had two spells at Gigg Lane after signing a short term contract with them in October 2002. He began his career at Ewood Park with Blackburn Rovers and was limited to just 20 appearances for them. Following a loan spell at Preston, he signed for Hartlepool United for £50,000 in Feb 92. A cash crisis at Victoria Park saw Lenny leave Hartlepool to join Bury in December 1993 for £20,000.
