Lyon Hylton
Now starting his second full season at the Vetch, Leon seemed to promise much at the start of the season. Following an injury and a lengthy lay off, he struggled to re-establish himself in the first team, surprising given our lack of cover at full back last season.
Playing well, Leon is an effective member of the team with good pace and the versatility to play at full back, centre half or midfield. With a number of England under 20 caps, it is hoped that he can recapture the form which saw Brian Flynn sign him on a permanent basis last summer.
2003/2004
Signed on loan from Aston Villa last spring, Leon soon established himself in the Swans team following the defeat at Bournemouth. Leon has a number of England Under 20 caps, and appears to have a bright future inthe game. Extremely versatile, Leon is capable of playing at left-back, in central defence, or in midfield.
Quick and skilful, he is a threat to defences, and will be a strong contender for the left back position once the season starts, or could play in front of Michael Howard. Leon has just signed a 2 year deal at the Vetch, following his release from Aston Villa
