Earl Davis
20-year old Earl is a real soild defender and thoroughly impressed the Southport managment team whilst on loan at the back end of the 2002/2003 campagin, despite only playing 6 games for them while on loan from Burnley.
Unfortunatly, Earl suffered and injury which needed operating on, so was out until October 2003. This meant he was sent back to Turf Moor and missed the Southports relegation run-in.
6'2'' Davis is a powerhouse, a sturn tackler, good organiser and is cool on the ball and when under pressure.
Earl also has played with Brad Maylett and Lenny Johnrose whilst at Burnley and has also had a loan spell Stalybridge Celtic.
