Neil Cutler
Neil Cutler was a first team regular for Stoke City in the 2001/2002 season and was signed from Aston Villa on a free transfer before the start of the season, after fighting off the competition of a number of goalkeepers at the club, including Gavin Ward and Jani Viander.
His first league game came against Bury at Gigg Lane, replacing Gavin Ward who's error in the 94th minute at the previous game had cost the Stoke three points. Stoke secured a 1-0 and Cutler logged a clean sheet.
Great shot stopper, he conceded fewer goals than any other 2nd division keeper in his first season between the sticks for Stoke. Joined the Swans on an initial 1 month loan on the 28th February '03 and made his Swans debut at home to Wrexham on St Davids day. Cutler became the 21st player to make a debut for Swansea City this season.
