Julian Alsop
Joined the Swans from Bristol Rovers in March `98 for £30,000 after an initial loan spell As well as establishing himself as one of the Swans front line strikers, Julian became a firm favourite with The supporters during the season for his hard work in either selling up, or converting chances in the opposition penalty area.
An extremely difficult striker to handle, because of his physical presence and strength in aerial challenges, he was respected by his opponents as being one of the best headers of the ball in the Third Division.
Received a red card for two bookable offences during the match with Brighton at the Vetch Field last February.
