David Romo
A classy midfielder who impressed on his debut against Stoke City.
A former French Youth international who played alongside Nicolas Annelka at that level.
David's favourite French team is Marseille. He speaks English well having been taught it at school.
2000/2001
David had a pretty good season considering the bad results for the club. Playing 33 league matches (3 as a substitute), Romo showed class on the midfield, although at times fans thought his enthusiasm left something to be desired. His passing and vision for dangerous situation was appreciated early on.
A regular in the squad since joining the team, Romo played 22 matches in the 2nd division and four cup games.
