Jason Scotland
Profile provided by Andrew Thomas
Signed from Dunfermline last summer, Jason had an immediate impact on the team, scoring on his League debut at Oldham. The goals continued throughout the season resulting in a tally of 29 by the end of the year.
Jason has a casual, almost laid back style, but has hasn't stopped him from making a massive contribution to the team's success in winning the League One championship. Probably his most spectacular strike came in the home win over Bristol Rovers in front of the Sky cameras.
Since moving down from north of the border, Jason admits that he is missing Scottish culinary delights such as Irn-Bru and Haggis.
2007/2008
Profile provided by Andrew Thomas
Jason was already a cult hero in Scotland following his time with St. Johnstone and Dundee Utd. He even had a single made for him which sold well north of the border during the 2006 World Cup.
Jason netted 26 times in the SPL last season, and possesses, pace, two good feet, an eye for goal and many Trundle-esque skills. It seems that he also knows how to head a ball.
Jason is also the third Trinidadian international at the club along with Dennis Lawrence and Kevin Austin.
Jason is said to have been instrumental in the reggae version of the Swansea City song due to be released in the near future.
